"Greg Johnson's latest album 'Seven Day Cure' is a sweet, folk based album worthy of a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Filled with passionate, emotive ballads and soft pop songs it's a delight to listen to." AMPLIFIER
Greg Johnson. Seven Day Cure. Johnson Music America/EMI. 4 stars (out of 5)
The eighth studio album from Greg Johnson finds the Los Angeles- based Kiwi songwriter and multi-instrumentalist in the form of his career.
Teaming up with long-time collaborator Ted Brown and employing a talented team of State-side musicians, Johnson digs deep into a song- writing methodology he began in the late-1980s.
Such experience is evident, be it in Johnson's slick lyricism or the balancing of studio polish with a sense of space.
Johnson has chosen to produce his own music: he backs himself by pushing the vocal faders high.
